From the President FFAA
Michael and I want to thank everyone who attended the reunion in Burlington. The weather was on the rainy side, but we made the best of it and as always had a wonderful time. The rain did hold off during the dinner cruise, the lake was calm and still. A great time was had by all!
We had 40 in attendance at the reunion from 11 states and Canada. We had several members that had never attended a reunion.
Welcome to David and Ellen Foote from Healdsburg, CA, Edward and Elizabeth Kipp from Orleans, Ontaria, Canada, Dorothy and Robert Kuba from Fort Edward, NY and Janis and Monty Palmer from Mesa, Arizona.

Family Education Conference Raffle
Looking back a few reunions,, when Neil and Marcia Foote were hosting the event near Cooperstown, NY, they started a new tradition at our FFAA event: a raffle to earn money for the book fund.
It started out small, with Neil and Marcia selling tickets to win a few items that they had put together. You could buy an arm’s length of tickets for $10-what a deal. Later that evening they would draw the tickets and those lucky winners would take home the prizes.
Today you can see from the photos above and below that it has grown to be a pretty big event! The members donate items for the raffle, it is a lot of fun and what a variety we have! We had our largest earning raffle to date, earning over $277 in June.
Thank you to all who contributed to the raffle this year and past reunions, and a special thanks goes out to Neil and Marcia for setting the raffle up for display and selling the tickets. We love it!
Be watching for more fun filled information about the 2013 reunion.
