He married Margaret Brooke the daughter of John Brooke of London on April 11, 1581, in St Mary, Woolchurch, London He was the uncle of Nathaniel Foote, The Settler. John was a citizen and Grocer of London. He died 1616 and was buried at London England. Margaret died about the year 1634 and is buried at St. Benets Grace Church in London. They had seven children which are named in his will which was proven in London 4 December 1616. Margaret wrote her will on 13 September 1634 and it was proved 10 October 1634. She was of St. Benet, Grace Church, London at the time of the will. She left a bequest to Rev. John Dunne of St. Bennett Grace Church.
